Chemical scientific notation question?
I'm working on this long review our package chemistry teacher assigned, but they did not seem understand is this. Explain why the number of 62.605 x 10 ^ 6 is not in correct scientific notation. What is the scientific notation correct for this issue? Do I have to write this number or is 10 ^ 6, it is assumed that 6 to be negative? Thank you.
It is scientific notation SN because it necessitates a number before the decimal. To do this the correct answer is 6.2605 x 10 ^ 7
