vacuum sensor
89 S-10, my EGR valve vacuum pumps are missing, and I dont know where to run it to?
trying to figure out where the vacuum line to run a new EGR valve on the form? , I also left a hole in the valve cover where it looks like a vacuum pump or sensor should be the opposite side, where the PCV valve, so I know it is not his .. trying to figure out the truck, .. and maintain him alive, any help would be great !!!!!!!!!!!
John is right, it goes to the EGR vacuum control soleniod. is mounted close to the valve and the 2 wire connector and 2-port vacuum your emission label should be on the fan shroud or hood. will vacuum hose routing diagram and procedures set the timing plus candle space. label, if there is not a repair manual HAYES from Autozone for your car and the scheme should be in it.it will also have the wiring diagrams. port on the valve cover is "fresh air "from the PCV system. it joins the Air Cleaner Housing from 3 / 8 or 1 / 2 diameter hose. it could be connected directly or filter is installed inside the air cleaner Keep trying, is not as difficult as it looks.
