Strengthening the GSM mobile phone signal at home?

I need a way to boost a signal in the UK GSM mobile phone to the Orange network. At home I have reasonable signal in areas of the house, but I would have a better signal in the house. This is to facilitate automation kit household with a phone card to receive text message instructions. TIA Chris

I've seen devices that are added to a window and connects to your mobile to get a better signal but I have not seen for sale anywhere. There is no other way to legally raise a signal of his house but I read an article in about an online journalist who managed to build his own memory, not legal, and very dangerous. Alternative to stand on your roof, try again some other providers hazardous SIM card service in your home, you may be surprised that some networks are better than others in the household because of the location of network masks!
