brake sensor noise
I had new front brakes and rotors put on about five weeks, and the question of new brake noise?
Seems in the last few days, I hear what sounds like sensors (squealers) when I brake (front brake ).... I gave the 500 miles new brakes. What is your opinion on this? "Brake-dust", or STS path back to the car? Thanks. One thing ----- Why would begin squealing few weeks after doing the brakes, and not after? ******* I REALLY respect the boys have knowledge about cars! I wonder only a fraction what do ya'll cars that I know about medicine and health !...... Happy New Year! ... I also did not change the brakes, etc., alone! ! I got lucky I have to change the oil!
Hey Doc, screaming, are very common on the disc brakes, even after the brakes .. Several theories against this problem Rotors Cheap brand washers not use anti-squeal compound, forgot to install the anti-squeal support, etc. .. But there is one factor that might fix your problem, you have the Auto Parts store or shop, the machine your brake rotors slightly, dont have too lot of meat out, just enough to roughen it. Next using sandpaper grit 120 150 Glaze take the brake pads, polish off. Then use needed substance to help the problem ... Your back in the game.
